Itinerary

Let us show you one of the most incredible places on Earth, Lichfield National Park. We leave Darwin and head to Litchfield National Park, surrounded by dense rainforest that offers a cool stop from the sweltering heat.

En route, you can take the famous crocodile jumping cruise (optional) on the Adelaide River. Alternatively, we will visit the Fogg Dam Reserve. The lands of the Limilngan Wulna people (who take part in the management of the reserve) are one of the most incredible places to experience the unique wildlife of the Top End, home to numerous species of birds, water pythons, turtles and, of course, the iconic Saltwater crocodile.

You’ll visit magnetic termite mound monoliths and then have the chance to swim in one of Lichfield’s natural pools, such as Wangi Falls or Buley Rockholes. Visit the thundering Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls and marvel at their beauty carved between rocky ledges. Fully rested and revitalised after a day in a breathtaking tropical national park, we return to Darwin.
