The Perth to Exmouth tour begins in Perth at 7:25 am and heads north along the coast. You will have lunch by the Indian Ocean and take a walk through the fascinating rock formations of the Pinnacles Desert. Before staying overnight in Kalbarri, you will pass through Geraldton.

Meals include lunch and dinner. Accommodation is provided in a dorm with shared bathroom facilities at Kalbarri Backpackers YHA. The driving distance is 575km. The hike distance is 2km with a grade of 1-2.

Today, you can explore Kalbarri National Park. Hike to Nature’s Window for a view through a unique rock formation. Take the Z Bend trail into Murchinson Gorge for stunning park views. In the afternoon, head towards Shark Bay and visit a beach covered in white cockle shells. Tonight, your accommodation will be in Monkey Mia.

Meals provided: Breakfast and Dinner. Accommodation: RAC Monkey Mia Resort Backpacker Dorms or similar, with shared bathroom facilities. Optional activity: Kalbarri Abseiling Z-Bend. Distance to drive: 450km. Hiking distance: 3km, with a difficulty grade of 3-4.

Begin your day with an exciting adventure by abseiling down the gorge’s walls in Kalbarri National Park. Kalbarri Abseil offers this thrilling experience; you don’t need any prior experience. They will provide full training and all the necessary equipment on-site. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture fantastic photos, and if you have friends or family who aren’t participating, they can also take pictures for you. You can easily organize this adventure as part of your tour.

This morning, you can witness one of Australia’s renowned wildlife encounters. The Monkey Mia Dolphins swim ashore and are hand-fed in knee-deep water. Afterwards, relax on the beautiful coastline before seeing the Stromatolites. Stromatolites are rock formations with multiple layers created by a single-celled microbe. They are alive and estimated at 3.7 billion years old. Tonight, you’ll travel and stay overnight on the edge of the Ningaloo Reef in Coral Bay. This package includes meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Accommodation is provided in Ningaloo Coral Bay Backpacker Dorms or a similar facility with shared bathroom facilities. The driving distance is 580km, and the hiking distance is 2km with a Grade 1 difficulty level.

Explore the Ningaloo Reef in Coral Bay for the day. Snorkel in the clear water near the shore. Take a tour to explore the reefs further out. Enjoy the beach and the sun. Later, travel to Exmouth.
Meals are provided for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Accommodations are available at Potshot Hotel Resort Backpacker Dorms or a similar option with shared bathroom facilities. Guests have several options for activities, including swimming with Manta Rays, snorkelling at Ningaloo Reef, and taking Glass Bottom Boat Tours. It should be noted that guests cannot book Whaleshark Swims on day four as they return after the bus has left Coral Bay. The driving distance for this day is 155km and is classified as Grade 1.

Experience swimming with Manta Rays on the Ningaloo Reef with Coral Bay Ecotours. Please note that snorkelling is available only for competent swimmers.
Coral Bay Ecotours offers a 5-6 hour tour of the Ningaloo Reef. The tour provides all necessary equipment, including a wetsuit if needed. Morning and afternoon tea, as well as a buffet-style lunch, are included. During the tour, you can witness the captivating dance of the manta rays and enjoy two reef snorkels. You may encounter beautiful fish, corals, sea turtles and reef sharks. The tour also includes visiting the turtle sanctuary, where you can observe turtles coming up for a breath in the shallows.
Experience a glass-bottom boat tour on the Ningaloo Reef with Coral Bay Ecotours.
Tour the Ningaloo Reef on Coral Bay Ecotours’ glass bottom boat. See tropical and temperate fish and corals under the glass. Choose from 1-, 2-, or 3-hour tours. The 1-hour tour is a glass viewing only. The 2-hour tour includes a glass viewing and a snorkel site. The 3-hour tour provides glass viewing, snorkelling, and a visit to the turtle sanctuary. You can watch turtles feeding and coming up for air in the shallows at the refuge. The skipper can even try to bring the turtles under the glass for you. Snorkel tours come with equipment.
Whaleshark Swims cannot be booked on [day 4] as they return after the bus has already left Coral Bay. All optional activities in Coral Bay must be completed by 3:45-4:00 pm.

Today, you will explore Cape Range National Park. You will see rugged limestone ranges, deep canyons, and pristine beaches spanning 50km. During the tour, you will visit Turquoise Bay and Vlamingh Head Lighthouse and relax at the Milyering Visitors Center. The tour will conclude in the late afternoon, making it an incredible way to end your Perth to Exmouth tour. The meals provided are breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The accommodation offered is Potshot Hotel Resort Backpacker Dorms or a similar option with shared bathroom facilities. There are two options for swimming: Whaleshark from March to September or Humpback from August to October (pre-booking is required). The driving distance is 135km, and the hike distance is 1km with a grade of 1-2. Optional Activities: (pre-booking is recommended) Exmouth Dive Centre offers seasonal swims with Whalesharks and Humpback Whales (March to August). Snorkelling is available for competent swimmers only. Join Exmouth Dive Centre for a fun day on the water. Start with a reef snorkel to see the coral gardens and fish. You might see turtles or reef sharks! Then, they’ll search for humpback whales and whale sharks with a spotter plane. If the whales aren’t cooperative, the plane will find another group. All equipment is provided, including wetsuits if needed. Morning and afternoon tea, as well as a buffet lunch, are included.
